The Gwiyomi Dance Guide :))

.

It's been a very long time, huh ? I missed you guys ! Hey ! You there ?! Okay .. My readers left me for not posting anything for the last decade of my life . I am truly sorry :(

Howkay , I've heard and seen some people go gaga over the Douggy days and the Gangnam Style era but for me , the Gwiyomi craze is a whole lot different thing :) IDK . I just loved it ! specially when my crush Alodia Gosiengfiao made her own version . What's funnier is when the Vice Ganda herself did it on It's Showtime . It was totally crazy ! My niece is also one of those who has been invaded by the Gwiyomi Craze , I hope to share with you her video once we're done shooting it :) For now, lemme just share with you how to do the Gwiyomi dance :))

Anyway, to help lessen your madness in me , I decided to post this (ehem) Gwiyomi Collage I made just a while ago . Howkay , I wasn't able to do all the posing but I only have six empty spaces to fill so that's all I've got . I hope you liked it ^^

I searched the Internet for some more information I can share with you about this new dance craze and the ever helpful Wikipedia said that :

The Gwiyomi song, or Kiyomi song (귀요미송), is a K-pop single by South Korean singer Hari and was released on February 18, 2013. It was inspired by a gesture from K-pop idol rapper Jung Il Hoon called Gwiyomi Player, which became an Internet meme in October 2012 following it's appearance on the variety show, BToB MTV DiaryMany. The gesture has inspired many Asian netizens to upload their own versions onto the internet.

According to The Bangkok Post, "Gwiyomi" or "Kiyomi" is Korean slang used to refer to a cute person. Gwiyomi (귀요미) is based on the adjective "gwiyo-un" (귀여운), which means cuteGwiyo captures the meaning of cuteness, and "-un"is a form of conjugation to be altered for each intended usage. Ending an adjective with "-mi" (-미) has the effect of personifying the adjective, thereby turning the word into a noun. Thus "gwiyomi" means a cute person.

Over in the Philippines, the trend caught on after Vice Ganda (a comedian and television presenter) performed his version of Gwiyomi on a popular teleivison show called "It's Showtime" aired by the Filipino broadcasting network ABS-CBN. Alodia Gosiengfiao (a cosplayer and model) also performed Gwiyomi for her fans.

There you go guys, so , STAY GWIYOMI howkay ?!
